What To Expect
Upon entering the warm atmosphere of Rainier Family Physical Therapy, you can anticipate one-on-one treatment from a friendly, licensed physical therapist (PT) who genuinely cares about your rehabilitation process.
During your first visit (initial evaluation), you will be with one of our PT's for approximately 45-60 minutes. Subsequent follow-up visits will be approximately 45 minutes unless the therapist deems otherwise based on your specific needs for rehabilitation. You may be seen by either your physical therapist or one of our physical therapist assistants.
Our goal is results! We carefully keep track of your rehabilitation to make sure you are seeing results from your therapy.
New Patient Process
At your first appointment, you will need to bring the following:
Doctor referral/prescription (most insurances require one),
Insurance card and government issued ID,
Patient forms (click here to take you to the forms).
Your therapist will ask you some questions about your current condition and administer various tests and measures. Based on the therapist's findings, a treatment plan will be designed specifically for you.
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing, similar to what you might wear while exercising. The area being treated needs to be able to move without clothing restriction, and able to be accessed by the PT.
