Are you a Physical Therapist who is passionate about hands-on care, professional growth, and helping patients achieve lasting results? Rainier Family Physical Therapy is looking for a motivated, compassionate PT to join our team and grow their clinical skills in a manual therapy-focused environment.

Since 2008, our therapist-owned private practice has been committed to providing personalized, high-quality care that helps patients move better, feel better, and live healthier lives. If you're looking for a clinic where you can build your expertise, receive mentorship from experienced clinicians, and have the time to truly connect with your patients, we'd love to meet you!

Why Work at Rainier Family Physical Therapy?

At RFPT, we believe exceptional patient care starts with giving therapists the time, tools, and support they need to make a difference.

What makes us different?

  • One-on-One Patient Care: 45-minute to one-hour appointments with dedicated time for each patient, rather than juggling multiple patients simultaneously.

  • Manual Therapy-Focused Practice: Develop your hands-on treatment skills in a clinic that prioritizes individualized care and addressing the root causes of pain.

  • Counterstrain Training & Mentorship: Learn and expand your knowledge of specialized manual therapy techniques alongside experienced clinicians.

  • SoftWave TRT Training Included: Gain experience with innovative, non-invasive technology as part of your professional development.

  • Continuing Education & Professional Growth: Take advantage of dedicated continuing education funding, on-site training, and opportunities to expand your clinical skillset.

  • Therapist-Owned Private Practice: Work directly alongside our owners, Susan Hogenson and Kim Bisson, who have led our clinic since 2008.

  • Supportive, Family-Friendly Environment: Join a small, close-knit team that values individuality, collaboration, work-life balance, and meaningful relationships.

Our approach combines outpatient physical therapy, hands-on manual therapy, Counterstrain, external pelvic floor therapy, SoftWave TRT, therapeutic exercise, and personalized home exercise programs. We strive to help patients improve mobility, remain active, and achieve long-term wellness through individualized treatment plans.

At RFPT, you're more than a provider filling appointments. You're part of a team that values clinical excellence, continued learning, and the relationships we build with our patients and one another.
